ISC2 Just Opened Board Positions To All Members

From a recent email from ISC2 leadership:

“Beginning this year, the (ISC)² Board of Directors has opened nominations to serve on the Board to the entire membership. All certified eligible (ISC)² members interested in volunteering to serve on the Board are invited to nominate themselves for consideration.

All interested members can submit themselves for candidacy and consideration by the Board. Nominations are being accepted May 12 - June 12, 2022.

The (ISC)² Board of Directors is responsible for:

• Providing strategic direction, governance and oversight for (ISC)²

• Developing policies and procedures

• Granting certifications

• Enforcing the (ISC)² Code of Ethics

If you are interested in serving on the Board, please submit your application at www.isc2.org/Nominate.”

I think this is a good move, and I hope it draws many more candidates to the election process.
